TIMELINE

Hans and Bergit Slettvoll

It all started in 1951 when Hans and Bergit Slettvoll set up a small business in their home at Stranda in Sunnmøre. They made wicker baskets, doll prams and small furniture, which were then transported by bicycle to the ferry and out into the world. It was a success, and the company expanded rapidly.

Together with CEO Lidvar Lillebø, Torill has grown Slettvoll into one of the leading destinations for quality and design.
